This week while waiting for Durnan from the Yawning Portal to meet with them, the party sought out the secretive Dilootiers Apothecary in Castle Waterdeep. They traded information for potions and seemingly made a new contact.
Once the party met with Durnan, he offered them a few magical items and gold to retrieve a green gem from the ruins of Myth Drannor. With little to go on and needing more equipment to defend Phandalin from the increasing threat of the Illithids, they agreed.
Deciding to head to Phandalin to get some guidance on how best to get to Myth Drannor, the group was attacked their first night on the road.
4 Bandits, the Bandit Captain with his Dire Wolf and a Diviner Wizard attack the group with little warning. There was a very long battle, but the party prevailed. It seems the bandits were sent to steal the Mithral on our heroes wagon. They all bore a tattoo that the party does not recognize.
